RE: Heartland unhappy camper

I have had no problems with any kind of repair on my Heartland Golden Gate it has a lot to do with the dealer. The dealer can make Heartland take care of the repairs but, like I said my issues where handled with no problems.
On your shower issue it sounds like the dealers tech needs some more training.
Jim Fenner is the person to talk to at Heartland.

RE: annual maintenance at 1 year mark

I wax mine the first week I had it and every 6 months after that. The better its protected the long it looks good. If you wait till it looks bad it will be oxidized and will have to be buffed lots of labor or $$. I wash it once a month. If you have birds around the acid from their poop will damage the jellcoat. 2 years on wheel bearing packing. Treat your rv as an investment you would not let your car go with out keeping it clean and maintained.

RE: Hartland RV Outlet

I have a Heartland Golden Gate 2006 and it is a great product. I still have not seen another product with the quality of my RV. I am in Texas so Iam to far away to help on pricing. If you want to travel in Culbert OK there is a dealer called RV Station that I checked out and had some friends pruchase an Augusta there. They have the best price's I have seen and they are honest with you.

The North Texas Heartland Owners Club 2nd meeting

Would you like to have fun and socialize with other Heartland RV owners and be part of a new club? We are starting a North Texas chapter and would like to have you as a Charter member.
We would like to set up a meeting with anyone who is interested in joining or just would like to have a good time with other RV’ERS.
Next Meeting
I called the reservation desk for Atlanta State Park they will not make a reservation unless we pay for one night in advance on each site.
$14.00 per night and park entrance fee when we arrive.
The area which Linda & Ray advised to stay in is called Knights Bluff which are pull thru and full hook ups.
So if you are attending you will need to call and make reservation and pay for one night ASAP.
The lady in reservations said that some of the sites in the area are all ready taken for June 20, 21 and 22 weekend.
For Reservation Call 512-389-8900 between 9am and 6pm (Mon-Fri).
Please let me know when you have made your reservations
Thanks, I hope to see you all there for the Camp Out.
Please email Carl Shea at Carl.shea@enternetnow.com or
Curtis Doyle at curtisdoyle@sbcglobal.net

RE: retro fitting double pane windows

Dual pane windows are worth every dime you pay. They help with heat loss and help in cooling. One on the side effects is that it helps with stopping outside noise like planes, trains and automobiles. Also noises neighbors special when your trying to take a nap.
People talk about condensation unless you have other issues you should not have any condensation.

RE: Which Bottle Jack?

I use a aluminm floor jack its designed for racing it light weight. It is
2 1/2 ton weight 20lbs thats more than enough to lift an axle. The axles are mostly round and hard to get a bottle jack set right. If your on the side of the road and a truck comes by it will move the trailer while jacked up on a bottle jack. It not a good feeling knowing it could slide off a bottle jack. So think before you buy a jack.
